There are many similarities between these two paintings and one of them is the use of focal point. Both of the paintings have used atmospheric perspective where the artists have used the atmosphere to be the main subject of the paintings rather than making the figures stands out. Both of these paintings contain several figures however; the atmosphere of the paintings stands out the most because of the use of atmospheric perspective. Another similarity is the use of space while placing the human and animal figures because both of the artists have clustered some of the human figures together while placing some more figures scattered around.
